MatIQ was built by a coach for coaches. We collect the minimum information needed to deliver the service. We never sell your data. Every program's information is fully isolated. Athlete conversation content is never stored or visible to anyone. That's the version that matters most.
MatIQ is an operating system for athletic programs and athletes. We are headquartered in the United States and operated by an active collegiate wrestling coach. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@joinmatiq.com at any time.
We collect your name, email, school, and program information when you book a call or create an account. This is the minimum we need to set up and support your program.
Recruiting call recordings you upload are processed to generate your coaching report. They are not retained after processing is complete. Your recruit pipeline, athlete roster, and program data live in your own isolated environment. MatIQ does not collect, access, or store that information.
We collect your name, email, and phone number when you sign up for Clear State. This is what we need to create your account and deliver SMS support.
For athletes enrolled through a college program, coaches receive a weekly summary showing how often their athlete engaged and whether a crisis flag was triggered. Conversation content is never shared with anyone.
For individual signups, check-in data is not shared with any coach or school. If a crisis flag is triggered, a notification goes to the parent or guardian who created the account. Conversation content remains fully private.
We use your information only to deliver MatIQ services. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with other programs. We do not use it for advertising. The only third parties who process data as part of delivering MatIQ services are Twilio (SMS delivery), Stripe (payment processing), and Zapier (automated workflow delivery). None of these parties receive your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
When you sign up for MatIQ or Clear State you agree to receive SMS messages related to your account and subscription. Message frequency varies depending on your plan. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. We do not share your phone number with any third party for marketing purposes.
Every program runs in its own completely isolated environment. No coach can see another program's data. No recruit information, athlete data, or account details are ever shared across programs.
The founder has access to system infrastructure for support and maintenance purposes only. There is no visibility into recruit pipelines, athlete data, or any program-specific information.
Conversation content is never stored by MatIQ and is never visible to coaches or program staff. Messages pass through industry-standard platforms including Twilio (SMS delivery) and our automation provider as part of service delivery. Athletes should review Twilio's privacy policy for their data retention practices at twilio.com/legal/privacy. Coaches enrolled in a program plan receive a weekly summary showing check-in frequency and any crisis flags only. That is the complete extent of what anyone sees.
Clear State is not a school system and is not administered by your institution. Athletes use it voluntarily on their own device. Conversation content is never stored or shared. For programs with compliance questions, Clear State conversations are private mindset communications initiated by the athlete and are not education records under FERPA.
Clear State by MatIQ is a mindset performance tool for competitive athletes. It is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you or your athlete are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. When a crisis flag is triggered, MatIQ provides the athlete with the 988 resource and notifies the appropriate contact — the coach for program enrollments, or the parent or guardian for individual signups.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. To request deletion contact info@joinmatiq.com.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You have the right to know what information we hold about you. You have the right to opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. To exercise any of these rights email info@joinmatiq.com and we will respond within 5 business days.
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify active users by email before the changes take effect.
